Mr Mohammed Al-Hinai is the Sharaka fellow at CEPS where he will work on EU-GCC trade cooperation, the FTA negotiations as well as other bilateral and multilateral trade negotiations between the two regions, among other things.

Mr. Mohammed Al Hinai is an Expert of Organizations and Commercial Affairs in the Directorate-General of Organizations and Commercial Relations of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the Sultanate of Oman in Muscat. He was formerly in the Royal Office (Ministry of the Royal Office) (1996-2000) and the Supreme Council of Planning (Ministry of Development) (1990 – 1996), where he represented the Sultanate of Oman in many international forums. He earned a degree in International Studies from Jacksonville University (United States) and holds postgraduate certificates (Master’s degrees) in Development Economics from Williams College (United States) and in Community Economic Development from the University of New Hampshire (United States).
