The seminar on “Prospects for Cooperation between the GCC and the EU” was held at IAI on 29 March in the framework of the project Sharaka. The seminar has been introduced by Abdel Aziz Abu Hamad Aluwaisheg, Assistant Secretary General for Negotiations & Strategic Dialogue, Gulf Cooperation Council, Riyadh, who underscored the need to review the objectives of the EU-GCC cooperation in light of the recent political and economic developments taking place both in Europe and in the Arab world.
